Chewy Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies are some of the most amazing cookies! I am a huge cookie fan, I love eating cookies all day every day. They would have to be one of my favourite snacks/desserts. And since I am also a huge chocolate fan, chocolate chip cookies are some one of my favorite kinds of cookies. These ones are chewy, soft and full of chocolate, which is the right way to eat cookies.
They are perfect for school lunches, work lunches, snacks for guests, or just a guilty pleasure at 10pm or 1am or whenever you like to make your cookies. If you like these, you might like my recipe for Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Recipe!
Can I freeze Chewy Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies?
Yes, these cookies freeze really well in freezer safe bags or airtight containers. You can also freeze the dough ahead of time and just bring it out when you want to bake. The easiest way to do this is to drop the dough onto the cookie sheets as if you were going to bake them, and then just stick the sheets in the freezer till the dough is frozen. Then place the frozen cookies in a freezer safe bag in your freezer till your ready to bake them!
Can I use parchment paper instead of greasing the cookie sheets?
Yes, this is what I did! It is so much easier to clean and really there is no difference. Either one ensures that the cookies don’t stick!
How long do Chewy Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies last?
If you don’t freeze them, these cookies last about a week in an airtight container.
How many cookies does this recipe make?
Depending on the size of your cookies, about 2 dozen. I used a smaller measurement then 1/4 cup and it made about 2 dozen.
