Now let's get back to Sourdough French Toast!

You will need: – sourdough bread  - cinnamon –  nutmeg –  vanilla – milk – heavy cream – eggs

Step 1:  Beat eggs together in a large shallow dish. (Glass pie plate or baking dish works well!)

Step 2:  Add milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, heavy cream and vanilla and beat together.

Step 3: Soak each bread slice really well in the egg mixture, flipping over to coat both sides.

Step 4: Melt some butter in a pan on medium heat.  Add 2 slices of the bread to the pan. Cook for 2 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 5:  Flip the French toast and cook the other side an additional 2 minutes.

Step 6:  Serve warm with toppings of your choice!
