Healthy Vegetarian Wraps Recipe
Now didn’t that look good? I thought the little drink umbrella just makes me happy because spring is finally here. But look at that wrap! Filled with fresh veggies, cheese and avocado. Not a fan of avocado? It’s okay, I won’t judge. Below I’ll share other options for you to use instead!
This wrap is great for a quick easy lunch, kids lunches, your lunches, (see below if you have a meat eater that you need to keep happy!), beach lunches and picnic lunches (yes, those are coming!!), and the list goes on!
How to Make Healthy Vegetarian Wraps Recipe
Step 1: Get all your veggies ready! Peel, pit and mash the avocado. Slice or dice the tomatoes. Slice and saute (or leave raw) the mushrooms and slice the cucumber. Shred the lettuce and cheese.
Then spread 1/8-1/4 cup of mashed avocado in the center of the wrap.
Step 2: Add your shredded cheese and sauteed mushrooms on top of the avocado.
Step 3: Add a few cucumbers and tomatoes to the wrap. (or other veggies if using)
Step 4: Add your spinach and lettuce.
Last step, is to fold! And then of course, enjoy!

What can I put in Healthy Vegetarian Wraps Recipe?
The options for these wraps are absolutely endless! If you are vegetarian then chose from the following list of options:
- black or green olives
- shredded cheese
- sliced cucumbers
- tomatoes, diced or sliced
- spinach and/or lettuce
- sliced pickles
- sliced onions
- sauteed or raw mushrooms or peppers
And if you’re vegan, just use your favourite vegan cheese or other products in your wrap! AND if you’re making a wrap for a meat-eater, you can easily add in meat of your choice!
And instead of avocado, you can use hummus, goat cheese, cream cheese or any other creamy cheese, spicy mayo, plain mayo, once again the options are endless. Try Audrey’s Classic Hummus!
What kind of wraps do I use for Vegetarian Wraps Recipe?
The bigger the wraps the better! I used a 10 inch which worked really well but anything smaller would be hard to fold and it wouldn’t be able to hold a lot. So go with 10 inch or bigger.

Vegetarian Wraps Recipe
- 4 large tortilla wraps
- 1 cup lettuce
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1 tomato
- 1 avocado, mashed
- 3/4 cup shredded cheese
- 4 mushrooms
- 1/2 cup spinach
- Peel and pit avocado and mash it.
- Slice cucumber, shred lettuce and chop or slice tomatoes.
- Slice and saute mushrooms. (if desired)
- Lay a wrap flat. In the center spread about 1/8 cup mashed avocado.
- On top, add some sauteed mushrooms and shredded cheese.
- Add 3-4 cucumber slices and tomatoes.
- Lastly, add some shredded lettuce and spinach.
- Fold wrap. See notes below for help if needed! Slice in half and enjoy!
- Repeat with the rest of the wraps.
