Eggnog Snickerdoodles Recipe is a perfect twist on your classic snickerdoodles! Coated in sugar and cinnamon sugar with eggnog flavors exploding in your mouth, it's a great cookie to enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee. Super easy to make, great to freeze and a perfect edition to your holiday cookies or even Christmas in July!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2/3 cup eggnog

Sugar Coating

  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Melt the butter and mix well with both sugars. Add vanilla
  • In a separate bowl, add all the dry ingredients together.
  • Pour the dry ingredients into the sugar mixture and add the eggnog.
  • Mix well.
  • Mix together sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl for the coating.
  • Make balls with about a tablespoon of cookie dough for each one. (Or teaspoon for smaller cookies.) Roll in the coating.
  • Place on a greased cookie sheet or lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, depending on your oven.
