Chocolate Crinkle Cookies Recipe

An easy to make, delicious to eat, cute to look at, with a fudgy center chocolate cookie!

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil
  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/4-1/2 cup icing sugar for rolling the dough in


  • Measure the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, stir together oil, cocoa and sugar.
  • Add in eggs, one at a time, beating well with each addition.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix just until combined.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1-3 hours, overnight if possible.
  • Roll cold dough into balls (I made them 30 grams) and then roll in powdered sugar.
  • Bake at 350ºF for 10 minutes.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the pan.
