Wet Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter soft
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 5 tablespoons pureed pumpkin
Dry Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 °F.
Cream butter and sugars in a mixer for a few minutes.
Add vanilla and pumpkin and mix well.
Combine all the dry ingredients into a bowl. Then add to the mixer with the sugar mixture.
Mix until just combined. Add chocolate chips and gently stir in.
Batter will be slightly on the wetter side. Drop by tablespoon onto a cookie sheet.
Bake for about 12 minutes.
Cool slightly and remove from pan.
