The Best Vegan Chocolate Cake Recipe
Perfectly moist, ready in less than an hour, super easy to make, this vegan chocolate cake recipe really is the best! But, try it for yourself, don't just take my word for it!
- 2 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 4 1/2 tablespoon cocoa
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup melted vegan butter or coconut oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoon vinegar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips
- Icing of your choice
Place first five ingredients in an ungreased 9" by 13" baking pan. Mix together.
Make 3 holes in the batter. In the first one pour your oil or butter. The next one, add the vinegar. And the last one, pour the vanilla.
Quickly pour the cold water and chocolate chips over it all and stir well.
Bake at 360F for 30 minutes.
