Blueberry Toast
A great breakfast recipe that is super simple and so tasty and sweet (but has honey instead of sugar). Make it for snack too and try peanut butter instead of cream cheese.

fresh blueberries

tablespoons
honey
plus extra for drizzle

teaspoon
lemon juice
1/2
cup
cream cheese

bread
lemon zest
for garnish, optional
Instructions
Put your blueberries, honey and lemon juice in a saucepan.
Boil on medium heat for 3-5 minutes till some of the berries burst and it thickens slightly. Some of the berries will still be whole and that's okay!
Let it cool for about 5 minutes, it will thicken slightly also.
Toast your bread and spread a layer of cream cheese on the slices.
Top the slices evenly with the blueberries and drizzle with honey. Add lemon zest on top if you wish!
