Sourdough French Toast
Sourdough French Toast is a super simple recipe that has 7 ingredients and takes 20 minutes to make!

- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 8 slices sourdough bread
Beat eggs together in a large shallow dish. (Glass pie plate or baking dish works great!)
Add milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, heavy cream and vanilla and beat together.
Soak each bread slice really well in the egg mixture, flipping over to coat both sides.
Melt some butter in a pan on medium heat.
Add 2 slices of the bread to the pan. Cook for 2 minutes or until golden brown.
Flip the French toast and cook the other side an additional 2 minutes.
Serve warm with toppings of your choice.
