Easy Avocado Brownies Recipe

Moist and just as good as regular brownies, these babies will have you drooling for more after one bite!

Ingredients

  • 2 avocadoes peeled and pit removed
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup unsweetned cocoa powder
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips divided

Instructions

  • Place a rack in the center or your oven and then preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Line 2 8 × 8 pans with parchment paper or a 9 × 13 pan.
  • In a food processor, place avocadoes, eggs, sugar, maple syrup, butter and vanilla.
  • Process until smooth.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients except for chocolate chips. Process until smooth.
  • Add 1/2 cup of chocolate chips.
  • Scrape the batter into pan/pans (use half of batter for each pan if using 8×8!). Smooth out the batter evenly.
  • Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Place pan on a cooling rack for 30 minutes. Then, lift the brownies out using the parchment paper.
  • Cool completely. If possible, refrigerate for 4 hours or more to have a better fudgier taste!
