Keep in mind the cooking time when adding other veggies. Onions, mushrooms, and peppers will be the same cooking time as asparagus. If you add bigger veggies like carrots or broccoli, there will be longer cooking time for those.

Asparagus have woody ends which you will want to remove. So take the asparagus and bend the end until it snaps. It will naturally snap where it starts to get tough. Then gently wash the stems in warm water and make sure the heads are fresh and firm, not mushy. Remove any heads that are starting to turn soft.

Easy Roasted Asparagus
- 1 asparagus bunch
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Trim the asparagus ends.
- Place the asparagus into a mixing bowl with olive oil.
- Toss to coat the spears and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Arrange the asparagus onto a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 12-15 minutes or until tender.
